About Us
Standing on the Word
We are a small congregation composed of older believers from a variety of different Christian backgrounds. What unites us is our deep desire to understand, and put into practice, the foundational teachings of Jesus Christ. We see the scriptures as the authentic Word of God and believe that God has given these to us in order to enlighten the church. We depend on the Bible to improve our relationship with God, our relationships with other believers and our relationship with the world at large. It forms the foundation of every aspect of our Christian doctrine and dogma. And while we may not agree on every point, we do agree that our primary purpose in this life is to love God with all our hearts.
Our Call as Believers
The call to every believer is to be a light upon a hill, a beacon of Christ's love, and that begins by sharing his love within the Body of Christ. Thus we strongly promote fellowship among our fellow believers. Shining our light to other believers is the first step in sharing it with the rest of the world.
Our Worship Service
We are a traditional congregation. We generally sing hymns, share a scripture reading, pray for one another and wait on God for a scriptural teaching. We partake of Communion as a group and actively interact with one another away from the church setting.
